Research and Outreach Coordinator

The SPICE Program and the Center for Optical, Molecular and Quantum Science (OMQ) is accepting applications for a Research and Outreach Coordinator. The person in this position will support the operations of the OMQ and the SPICE science outreach program. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, able to problem solve and prioritize, and comfortable with a variable workload. The Research and Outreach Coordinator works closely with the OMQ Assistant Director and provides general service and support for a center with 14 faculty members and 40+ graduate students. Summers in particular are a busy time for supporting the SPICE science camps for middle school girls.
This is a part time (0.60 effort) postition and includes the standard Univeristy of Oregon benefits.
